Biography

Otabek Babakandov is a researcher and educator. He currently works as a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Cultural Heritage Sites Protection at the International Research Institute “Silk Road.” His research focuses on the development of tourism education, sustainable tourism, green architecture, and the role of tourism in socio-economic development. Particular attention is paid to cultural heritage preservation, environmental sustainability, rational use of natural resources, climate change adaptation, and the improvement of scientific and methodological support for education. He contributes to the development of modern educational approaches and research in the fields of architecture, tourism, and cultural heritage.
