Visit to the Great Wall of China and the Imperial Palace (Forbidden City).

A delegation of the International “Silk Road” Research Institute at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited two major symbols of China’s cultural heritage — the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City — on November 29–30, 2025.
The first site visit was made to the Badaling section of the Great Wall - the most famous and best preserved part of the Wall, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The next day, the delegation visited the Forbidden City, an imperial palace complex and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The staff of the Institute studied the distinctive features of these two masterpieces of Chinese architecture and methods of their preservation and museification.
The visit of the delegation to China became an integral part of the work being carried out by the institute on study, preservation, and promotion of the Silk Road countries' cultural heritage.
