From November 28 to December 2, 2025, the staff of the “Silk Road” International Research Institute at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, headed by the Director of the Institute, Prof. M. A. Yusupova, visited several scientific and cultural institutions in Beijing and participated in a seminar and workshop. They became acquainted with the activities, laboratories, and creative works of Beijing City University, the remarkable museum collection of the Beijing Ceramic Art Museum, as well as with China’s architectural masterpieces — the Great Wall of China and several religious complexes, including the Temple of Heaven.
At the conclusion of the five-day visit to Beijing, a scientific seminar was held, featuring presentations on the cultural heritage of the Silk Road and on ancient and modern scientific ties between China and Uzbekistan. Speakers included Prof. M. A. Yusupova, Prof. Li Bing (Director of the Cultural Relics Digital Research Center and Vice Dean of the Institute of Cultural Heritage, Beijing City University), as well as other leading Chinese scholars and specialists.
The parties discussed the development of joint scientific research, academic exchange programs, and the organization of exhibitions.
At the end of the visit, on behalf of the delegation of the “Silk Road” International Research Institute, Prof. M. A. Yusupova expressed gratitude to the leadership of Beijing City University, the Beijing Ceramic Art Museum, and the organizers of other events in Beijing for their warm hospitality, meaningful meetings, seminars, and workshops. The academic exchange program became an important step in further strengthening scientific and cultural cooperation between the universities of China and Uzbekistan.
