Signing of a Memorandum with Southeast University, China

On April 17, 2025, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the “Silk Road” International Research Institute under the “Silk Road” University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and School of Architecture, Southeast University, one of China’s leading architectural institutions.

The cooperation covers key areas such as restoration and preservation of tangible cultural heritage, scientific research, exchange of experience, and academic resources.

A distinguished delegation of eight people arrived in Samarkand, including dean Jiang Hon, professors Dong Wei, Li Xinjian, Li Yonghui, and PhD researchers.

This is an important step toward expanding the international relations of the “Silk Road” International Research Institute and making a joint contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage.
